We have created the A to Z of the positive side of winter, there are so many moans and groans at this time of the year we all tend to forget about the good side of winter:

Advent Calendars: it’s the only time of the year we can indulge in these and enjoy a naughty chocolate treat every day.
Boozy Drinks: well it’s a good excuse to keep warm, if ever we needed one!
Crisp Fresh Mornings: there is nothing prettier than the frost on a countryside landscape with the winter sun shining through.
Dogs in Sweaters: whether you love or hate them, we can’t help but smile when we see a dog in a sweater.
Eating: over-indulge in stodgy food as this helps to keep you insulated and warm, whilst hiding the extra pounds with baggy Christmas jumpers!
Festive Season: it is what you make it; go on have fun.
Grass: you no longer having to cut it.
Hot Tubs: relaxing in a steaming hot tub whilst being surrounded by the winter elements.
Icicles: the magical side of frozen water.
Jokes: found in Christmas crackers, you can’t help but laugh at these.
Kissing: under the mistletoe.
Landscapes: changing on a daily basis.
Mince Pies: both baking them and eating them, who can resist them?
No Mosquitoes or Flies: you can walk around woodland areas without being bitten, swatting or having to use smelly bug spray.
Oats: this is the ideal time of the year for warming porridge oats and you can add your favourite topping.
PJs: indulge in all-day long pyjama wearing to keep you warm and snugly.
Quiet: the dense quiet of fresh night snow.
Robes: thick fluffy dressing gowns to wrap yourself in after a nice hot soak in a bubble bath.
Snow: snowmen, snow angels, fluffy white snow that feels as you are in a snow globe.
Toe Socks: who cares if you look silly they are warm and practical.
Umbrellas: there is always a great choice to keep you dry at this time of the year.
Value: great sales start at this time of the year, stay in the warm shopping on the internet.
Wise Men: the joy of watching children doing their Christmas nativity play, or reminiscing back to your own childhood.
Xmas Day: not just because it’s a day off work, but being with family and friends.
Yule Logs: chocolate Yule Logs are so easy to make, and taste yummy.
Zzzzzs: we all deserve extra sleep in the winter.

We hope the above has made you smile, we love this time of the year as we help people plan for their garden areas ready for the Spring when you can sit outside on your dining sets with a hot cup of coffee or lounge back on a garden sofa/chair whilst you plan what new flowers and shrubs to plant.
