Our rattan garden furniture is fully weatherproof and can withstand all weathers. The beauty of our furniture is that it can be left out all year round and still look good year after year. However, this could potentially have repercussions in rare instances. For example, what would happen if a tree fell into your garden through strong winds, full force onto your garden furniture?

Recent research has shown a significant increase in popularity in garden decorations and outdoor improvements, as well as ownership of items such as water features and rattan garden furniture. It is also apparent that people tend to overlook such items when purchasing insurance cover, and many would not consider adding new garden purchases to existing policies. Our advice is to expect the unexpected, and be prepared for all eventualities. Rattan garden furniture is a long-term purchase and as such it is important to protect it - this includes insurance and sensible thought.

Our rattan garden furniture items are made from solid aluminium frames which not only prevents rust, but also makes them extremely strong. Very few structures would survive the full force of a large tree landing on them, and such scenarios need to be considered when purchasing, positioning and insuring garden furniture.

Ask yourself, is your furniture vulnerable to outside forces and either unexpected or freak accidents? Have you added your garden furniture onto your household insurance? Rattan garden furniture is particularly desirable and, like many garden features or accessories, could be prone to theft if left in open spaces in full view and with easy access for opportunists.
